Cutting in on second coat - dulux easycare

Just finished 1st layer of boxroom using Dulux Easycare.

Didn’t trust my cutting in skills (and thank God as the paint is mega thick!). used yellow frog tape and painted one wall at a time then removed tape to stop it peeling paint when it dried!

For second coat, do I need to mask up and start again? I’d love to just roll put I’d prob hit the ceiling …… Are there any tips / tricks you guys can suggest to speed up the job?

Also - I was just shy with 2.5l of paint.

Can I add a touch of water to the second coat or is that madness??

Add a touch of water and try cutting in by hand. Make sure you have a decent brush though. Cut in the wall first before rollering.
