Will probably sound like a complete novice, which I am !
However, I need to change the mixer taps in my kitchen. I've cut the water off at the stopcock in the house, and turned the kitchen and bathroom taps on to drain the remaining water. The kitchen taps have now stopped, but the bathroom ones keep going - are they likely to be sourced differently? or will it just take a while to drain? Now about 30mins! We do not have a cistern, but all water fed from the mains.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Cheers, Iain

You have probably got a gravity fed supply to the bath room taps [thats the big tank in the loft!

If the main supply is off then eventually the tank will empty.

Failing that look in the airing cupboard, there may be some gate valve in there that will isolate the water flow to the bath taps.

If there's no water coming out of the kitchen taps then what's the problem? :?
