Hi all,

Ive got some slate I wish to cut. I only have a normal hand drill. Is there a disc cutter I could use by sticking it into my normal drill as you do with a normal drill bit.

Thanks

Steve

No do not under any circumstance's do that
Slate is cut with a slate knife and t piece or guillotine
you could at a push cut it with a angle grinder with stone or diamond blade
But be careful with angle grinders if you have no experience
They bite in the wrong hands... :|

nothing i know of is available mate, you are best off buying a cheap electric tile cutter ( probs around £25) The water cools the blade and will stop the slate breaking up.
