Any advice on cutting sections out of suspended ceiling steel supports when installing trunking down the wall ? I currently use a junior hacksaw as its hard to get tight in against the wall with a conventional hacksaw, but its time consuming and not always easy.

Has anyone used tin snips ? What do the ceiling contractors use ?

tin snips and bend the piece back and forth till it snaps off or just fold it flat with t'hammer

Many thanks for replies, I
a) wasn't sure if the snips would work
b) pleasantly surprised how cheap they are, worth an investment !
