Cutting tiles into smaller tiles

The tiles I like only come in 30cm * 45cm, but look to big for the room. I was thinking of cutting them in half (30 * 22.5). I problem I can see is getting them the same size. How do think they will look when grouted? Is it a bad idea?

I agree with above.
Cutting the tiles is the easy bit, you could cut every tile identical size, but when you lay them they will Look CRAP.
