Evening all,

I'm working on a project and I would appreciate some thoughts on the solution.

The project:

- I'm creating a number of lamps from old jars, see example URL below:

http://edisonlightglobes.com/Shop/product/jar-lamps/widemouth-preserving-jar-e27-240v-pendant-light/

- The lamp fittings I am planning on using are something like this:

http://edisonlightglobes.com/Shop/p...pendant-lampholder-edison-e27-smooth-fitting/

- The flex I was planning on using is:

http://www.urbancottageindustries.c...e/dark-brown-fabric-lighting-flex-cable-twist

- The E27 lights I'm thinking of using are [60W]:

http://edisonlightglobes.com/Shop/p...n-squirrel-cage-teardrop-filament-bulb-150mm/

- I want to connect them to a single cable, with a single switch and a single wall plug so that i can put them in my living room.

- I want to link 5 of them together

- I want the wire to loop from lamp to lamp and then terminate at the end lamp

- I want to hook up a dimmer such as:

http://edisonlightglobes.com/Shop/product/plugs-and-switches/black-inline-dimmer-240v-2/

Questions:

1. Can someone please confirm that the flex i am planning on using is ok
2. Can someone explain if I need to use all 3 cores or just 2
3. Is the switch i picked sufficient
4. Can someone confirm I can wire this up to a standard UK plug
5. Can you tell me what fuse I should put in the plug
6. Ideally if someone could show ,e wiring diagram, that would be great

Cheers,
Chris
