Damp chimney inside and out

No, no issues or causes for concern.
Go ahead and buy the place - what you've shown so far is everyday stuff in an older house.
Presumably you will at least have a mortgage survey?

When you've bought the place then come back on here with relevant bits of any surveys or reports, and, in a logical order, we can take you through any remedial measures necessary.

The concealed iron grill should be covered back up for security.
The roof coverings and dormer cheeks are fibre cement and, although a cheap option, are good for purpose.
Any bits of cleaning up and pointing brickwork can all be done in good time.
There's nothing urgent - even the damp c/breasts and bay roof: they are not urgent.

The rusting grill you have uncovered is the old coal shute and a lot of the problems
regarding damp that you are concerned about is because that property when built
was designed to have several roaring fires going through the cold damp winter.
