Damp meter

I am thinking about buying a damp meter for my own use. I dont need the best product out there so wondered what others recommend i buy.

I can see you can get something for £20, but the better meters are up at £150 odd.

Lidl had some in on Monday for a tenner.

Only suitable for timber, do you have a lot to test?

Not a lot really, but over time it will be useful. I am a small property renovator / landlord so may need to use the meter more than most.
