Removed partition wall, G/floor, 50s house, clearing the 150mm wide channel to top up 25mm screed level, accidentally damaged the old type "pitch" DPC
within an hour there was an oval damp patch, 200x125mm, the damp is now reddish in color maybe due to the red brick underneath damp course which has three holes, which I suspect the damp penetrates through, the wall did have nomosis system now removed, Do I "paint" the channel with liquid tar or will modern DPC do, covered by the 25mm screed?
