Damp proof self levelling

Hi, iv recently knocked my kitchen through to my dining room leaving a gap in the floor that will need filling in. My problem is, I don't know if I need any damp proofing and wondered if anyone could help. Is self levelling compound damp proof?

Looking at that it’s either dig out done 4” and put a visqueen sheet in and fill back up.
or use a liquid Dpm over it as it is like ardex DPM1c 3kg

I'm not to sure yet mate tbh. I'd like tile but with the kids running in and out I'm a bit concerned about it being slippy, like I say tho I'm not sure what to do yet
