Damp Proofing

Hello. I am currently in the process of buying a house, the house in question needs a damp proof course installing. Could anyone give me any ideas as to how much this work will cost me?

How old is the house, and what makes you think that it needs a DPC installing?

I would say £10,000 just to cover meself as it maybe a 10 bedroom bungalow with a stream running under it.
