Hi - old house , semi, cellars , in town with lots of hills . Water pooling on basement floor after it rains . One part of the wall only at front of house , external wall adjacent to a path down the side of house. Path paved as is front garden .Happens when it rains . Generally always damp at bottom base of these walls in pictures when wet. But pools and trickles of water into the room when heavier from the base of wall . Wall looks damp (black) all way down .Can’t decide if running down from the external wall above and therefore dig out the path and put in lead flashing to run it away or whether it’s coming I at lower level and therefore no idea . Any advice helpful thank you photos attached

You'll need an “expert” to assess that but these videos will help explain some the issues around basement waterproofing:

Blup

Please post photos of the outside of your house. Include the gutters, downpipes and gullies, and the manhole covers or other indicators of drain position.

Include some photos of the gullies showing their height relative to current ground level and the dpc, and any signs of cracks, breakage, shifting and previous attempts at repair.

When was the house built?
