Hoping someone can provide some advice

I have been having problems with my boiler recently, for the last 6 weeks the boiler makes a loud buzzing noise. Originally this would do it every couple of hours. It seemed to of died down and was maybe only making a noise once a day but it did not seem as load or as long. The noise can last up to 1 minute on occasions.

The noise happens when the boiler is switched on, but it can happen when the heating is on or off.

Tonight however the boiler is making a sound that resembles a dull alarm or a low buzzing noise but it is continuous. The pilot light does not ignite any more. There is an LED light on the circuit board on the bottom of the boiler that is switched on.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

The make on the boiler is - Glowworm, Energysaver 40e (condensing Boiler)
