Dashboard malfunction

I have a 2006 Citreon Zara Desire petrol car .
The oval dashboard component that shows the temperature - petrol.- speedo etc. dose not
light up in the top left hand quarter.This happens in the winter mostly when it's cold and damp.
But it does come on again as the engine warms up after quite a few miles.
Can you please help??

Its not an unknown problem on these Eric - more often the illumination pulses from time to time.
Usually its a replacement or rebuilt dashboard thats needed - contact BBA-Reman for details.
