Hi All

Is it ok to remove plug from low watt deck lights and hard wire into light switch spurred off 2 gang plug socket via fcu.

2 gang socket - 2.5mm t+e - fcu - 1.5 t+e - light switch - 1.5 t+e - ip rated junction box - deck light transformer with plug removed

If this is not possible what other solutions are there.
I have not bought the lights yet but was thinking of getting the Techmar Astrum Low Voltage White LED Plug Play Decking Lights.

Any advice would be great. Cheers

As long as it isn't a wall-wart power supply, yes.

Note you might be able to use a switched FCU instead of FCU + switch.
