Hi i have a three sided railway sleeper wall and want to install some decking. The soil is clay but do i need drainage fitting below the decking? The ground generally drains away now. should I secure the deckng to the sleeper wall ?

if it drains ok at the minute the decking will have no effect on this so leave as is. I wouldn't fix to the sleeper wall as it could well move a little or twist etc.
Personally i would set the deck with posts and leave a 10mm gap between deck and wall.
