Decking Frame

Hi. I was thinking about brightening up an ugly part of the garden with a bit of decking. I was just going to build a simple frame and lay decking on top. Is it nececcassry to have legs as it is on patio slabs? Thanks in advance.

What are you gonna fix it to to hold it solid?

You can't just lay it flat on the slabs

Yes you can, gravity will hold it down just fine, been there done that.

Me too - though I'd put a screw into a plug into a slab in each corner of the frame to keep it still, in this situation.
