Hi all hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
As you might have guessed by the username I am a joiner but I don't do that much decking. I have got a job to quote and was wondering what the correct way to do the framework is. I was thinking of resting the back end on the edge of the patio and will need to elevate the front side at a max height of 0.7m. The front at the moment is gravel which he will be getting tarmacked at a later date. What would be the best way to build the framework? Do I just concrete 4x4 posts in and sit the 4"x2" framework on top or is it better to use bigger joists bolted to the posts then sit smaller joists on to that? What spaces do I need to have the posts? So many questions lol. Any advice and tips will be greatful
