Hope this is a simple question for the experts out there, I'm totally new to this gardening lark !!
I moved into a house recently which has decking - I can't say what specs as it came with the house. I've recently cleaned it using Ronseal Deck Cleaner and a stiff bristled broom, as recommended by many sites. Now when dry it looks much better, however when wet there is still a green tinge of algae on there (though it is much less slippy than it was).
Is that something I just have to live with, or are there better ways to do it ? I did nothing all summer so perhaps I need to apply a second treatment of coating ?
Also the wood is natural, do I need to apply any surface treatments to preserve its waterproofing (I'm assuming the previous owner used decent wood etc etc)
