Decking screws for joists?

Quick q was hoping someone could help with. Building a decking frame with 2x4 timbers. Hangers were access limited but otherwise just screws. Can I use decking screws like these or are decking screws not for structural use?

I would go with motorbiking's recommendation. The decking frame will probably rot before the screws fail. If you want greater longevity, consider using stainless coach bolts or screws. They cost much more though and will potentially snap if you don't drill a clearance hole first.
