3m decking....confused with foundation?

hi there,

all i want is to create a 3m sq decking (using planks).....upon soil.

i am struggling with what way to do the foundation?

i obviously need to raise the decking off the ground somehow and screw/nail the planks into something......what is an easy and quick way to do this? i don't want to use lots and lots of cement if i can help it.

any help most gratefully received

You need to build a frame for your decking to get fixed on to.

Then the frame can be laid on concrete blocks.

to make it easier, could i not use identical pallets 2x2 for instance?

You would need a lot more support for individual pallets.

Where there's a will there's a way.
