Hi All
I have some decking at the back of my house with a polycarbonate roof, which becomes an outdoor dinning area in the better months. I am looking for suggestions for a type of screen for when there is a bit of a breeze, I currently have a tarp that I pull across which is attached to a steel cable via the eyelets but this is getting a bit jaded and I am open to suggestions from anyone who may have done similar?

This is an old thread but I thought I would throw my feedback in as well for anyone else who has a similar setup and might benefit. Feeding the wire through the eyelets in the tarp is not a good idea. It can make the curtain difficult to draw and the eyelets will start to fail within the first year. There are lots of other curtain options but as you will be entering the "commercial curtain market", it will start getting more expensive fairly quickly. Instead, just pick up a cheap clear plastic tarp from somewhere like Amazon and instead of feeding the torsion wire through the eyelets, you need to attach quick repair chain links to the eyelets and feed the wire through them. It will be much more hardwearing and will slide much smoother..
