Greetings,

We're selling up and moving on next year, so we're redecorating and throwing down a new carpet. Most of the rooms have been a simple matt emulsion and satinwood affair, but that's obviously not suitable for a bathroom.

Having been witness to many a bleaching in its lifetime, it does at least have a brutal extractor - not that it's fully stopped mould growing on up upper areas; I imagine it's too ingrained into the paint.

Are there are recommended bathroom paints, or are they much the same?

Hello,

Putting silk in the bathroom would be one suggestion. There are branded paints that state Bathroom + endurance and 500 tougher..

in short

silk, shiny finish, very good for bathrooms
Dulux Bathroom +, comes in matt (I think), soft sheen

Dear Kevin,

Thank you for your reply; I'll stick with silk on the walls then!

Russell.
