My bathroom ceiling is painted with the smooth silky feel paint that was marketed as "kitchen and bathroom paint"

Can I just paint over it with dulux diamond matt that says its scrubbable on the tin and if so, is there any special prep required other than cleaning ?
I bought this dulux matt from Brewers some time back and have used it on the walls as the assistant said that is all they sell these days to the trade for use in bathrooms
