Deep window boards

I want to find a way to replace the dodgy 70's tiles on the internal window cill/sill/board in my lounge bay window. This seems like a reasonably straightforward job, however I can only find 219mm deep MDF window boards, whereas I need about 270mm deep.
Any ideas of either a) where I could get some deeper ready-made window boards from, or b) an alternative approach that people have used where the sill is quite deep would be greatly appreciated.

get a sheet of mdf and cut out the widths you want from it

our local builders yard here in staffs sell 300mm wide pre primed mdf window boards.
