Hello all you helpful people out there.
I've searched long and hard for info re specific manufacturers types of this dense accoustic insulation for between floors and have had no success so far. So basically I would like to know some specific types/names of this stuff that I can quote to my builder. He insists that a couple of layers of 100mm loft insulation will do but I want the soundproofing kind. We have a loo in the ensuite above our sitting room and I don't want those early morning ablution noises travelling downwards thankyou! Is Rockwool Rockfloor for example suitable and any other names would be great please?
