Hi,
I am going to be laying underfloor heating in my hallway (floorboards) and my dining room (concrete), I will be making two totally separate circuits as the rooms are used for different periods of the day etc. As you can see I am laying the heating mat on two different bases, I am aware of the need/benefits of using a thermal barrier for both systems. My question however is which system to go for? They are priced fairly similarly, it would appear they are both just as easy to install. I think the deciding factor is other people's experience's with them.
Cheers

I think you would be unwise to put a heating mat in your hall and/or dining room.

Those products are intended to be a 'cosy' floor warmer in a place where you have bare feet, e.g. bathroom, whereas I surmise that you want to heat the rooms.

What are the exact symptoms of the problem that you wish to solve?

I am solely putting these mats down to take the "chill" off the tiles, I have rads in each of the rooms providing heating.

Ah, OK. Back to your question then...

I've only ever installed Devimat mats - don't know about Warmups.

I've noticed on the forum that some people don't favour Devimat, but I don't see what's wrong with them; they seem good quality to me.
