DeWALT DCD785 18v cordless drill problem.

You may as well take it to bits as it's broken anyway!.

I've learnt most of what I know by dismantling stuff and fixing it (mostly..).
Thank you for your suggestion but that's my point. It isn't broken as such. All other aspects of the drill work fine and if I mess something up when dismantling then I have lost a drill as well as the hammer. I do agree that if it was totally shot then it would soon be in bits.

Yes, I always do that nowadays. It's easy enough because most of us walk round with a camera in our pocket in the shape of a mobile 'phone. Thanks for reminding me anyway.
