Dewalt Li-ion batteries

Hi All

Bought a couple new off the bay and they have stopped working. Not good, but is there anything I can do with them to get them going again, they are 3ah? Or are they for the battery bin. Pretty new to Li-ion batteries as used Nicad until about 2 years ago.

Original or snide? My last DW batteries (used on a 1st and 2nd fix nailers) lasted 5 years in trade use until the guns were sold, and more than a year on they are still working

I've got a DeWalt Lithium Ion drill that must be coming 15 years old now and batteries are still fine.

If they won't charge on the DeWalt charger then bin them as easy to start a battery fire messing about with them.
