Obviousely one is heavier, though the 3.5 is pretty much double the price of a 2.3mm. Just wondering what are the advantages of a 3.5mm over a 2.3mm and if it makes a huge difference? cheers
Quality steel baths are made from a single sheet of steel pressed into shape so will retain rigidness. The finished stated thickness will include a sprayed on enamel coating which is then baked on.
To provide a more robust surface finish, luxury appearance, easy clean better heat retention etc more coats of enamel are used. Some high street hotel chains use these baths.

thanks for the replys guys. Yeah I'm starting to sway towards steel more now. I guess it's set back is it can chip the enamel if something drops on it though thinking this can be repaired with milliput. What do you guys think of this steel bath? They don't mention the thickness, is that something I should ask?
