hi,

Having our wooden parquet flooring done and just wanted to ask -

could anyone tell me what the differences are (if there are any) between having three coats of Becker Acroma Parquet One or having three coats of Johnstones Quick Dry Polyurethane floor varnish?

Which would wear better, which is the better quality product, which costs more etc?

thanks guys!

Being in the trade I would normally go for Bona Mega given the chance. That said, try and go for a 100% polyurethane product as they last better than co-polymer.

Go for the Beckers, its an exellent product and gives a great finish as well, i've used Parquet One and Parquet Pro, both are top notch and are straightforward to apply (if you know what you are doing)

I've never used the other gear but i can't see it holding a candle to Beckers, i get 3 coats on in around 3 hrs, dries quick and is just the business.
