Differential Bypass Valve Closed position

Hi, I have this Differential Bypass Valve on my central heating/hot water system.

I’m just about to run a MagnaCleanse through the system and the guide mentions that all bypasses should be isolated.

So I assume I need to close this valve off, but I’m unsure which setting is fully closed.

Could anyone offer any advice?

looks like an older auto bypass.

Wind it to it's highest setting, just remember where it was set. Though I would say that the bypass leg would also need to be flushed too.

The highest setting would 0.5bar, so all the way in. Again remember where it was originally set or you'll need to go through the setup procedure again .

Ok, I get it now.
Looks like it’s currently set to 0.4bar, so just wind it down a bit more.



Is this cross-section an example of how the valve works?
