digital tv modulator for cctv

Hello all,

can anyone recommend one,

im after a 1 input one and a 4 input one for connecting to an MATV system.

i will just add that there is no provision for analogue channels on the MATV system going on, so the usual suspects I think will not be an option.

Ive not seen this done yet as all installs I have done so far have been using an analogue channel on in the TV like 21-69 but I dont think this will work now.

Using an analogue channel will work as long as (a) you have free channels on the system (and co-channel spacing is a lot less critical with digital than analogie) and (b) all the TVs have analogue as well as digital tuners.

If you must modulate to DTTV then you can get modulators eg

but they will be expensive (£££ or even ££££ compared to ££ for an analogue modulator)

Hopefully they will come down over time as analogue ones become obsolete...

That's not Digital Television though. It just has a digital display.

problem is some of the more modern tvs dont have an analogue tuner. found that out allready...
