Dilemma, to have place re-wired or cosmetic job?

It's an earlex combi vac (wet and dry). I've had it for years.
I've modified it sligthtly with a bit of 4" flexi duct gaffer taped over the 'blow' exhaust hole which can be dangled out of a convenient door or window as it has a habit of blowing a bit of dust back out of there.
Other than that, as long as you push the chaser in the right direction, it's fine.

Or if she is then don't get confused about what you dangle out of the window...
That case was dropped in court.
