Dilux diamond Matt - blue blobs

Opened up about a two year old tin of Dulux diamond Matt I had mixed up and it had these weird clumps of blue stuff within it.

I mixed it up out the tin and it was fine so just curious here what it might had been?

Wow 2 years old paint, surprised it wasn't rock hard, the blue lumps are just what is added when paint is mixed up.
I only keep and use paint up to 6 months.
Dulux Diamond Matt is hard enough to put when just bought ie stick and dries quickly would love to know what 2 year old paint was like ?

Seems ok for about 3sqm of wall I've got, however I'll be binning it now.
