I have one of these downflow fans in my Bathroom. Its been in place for just over 2 years, but for some reason the Fan on the Motor keeps loosing blades. The blades are not coming into contact with anything and spinning free. I've just taken the cover off again to find 3 more blades have become detached. Dont think it will be safe to use now as maybe not enough airflow over the heating element, but has anybody had this problem with these heaters before. The blades just seem to come off for no reason. Dimplex don't sell these as a spare item so does anybody know if a spare motor/fan unit is available anywhere else before I fork out £45 for a new one. Are there better makes of bathroom heater fan than this ? I thought Dimplex was a good Make
