I have a diplomat oven and the electrics must be working as I can set the time on the clock. however when moving the thermostat or switching it to oven/grill etc nothing happens.
This was happening previously and by switching off all the power and switching back on we were able to cook for about 40 mins using the fan assist until it cut out again. However now nothing happens when moving the dials.
The part I don't understand is the clock still works suggesting electricity is reaching the oven. Is this wired seperately? Does anyone have any ideas as reading through forums it seems if the element wasn't working the fan would still switch on.
