Hey those must be the same Polish builders that did a house rewire near me last year!
The client called me in when she noticed that a couple of the sockets weren't working. Lo and behold there were no cables supplying them! She said, well they were trying to finish up and get back home for Christmas...
The sockets they did bother to supply with electricity were all reverse polarity.

be fair, they got the polarity right, just the wrong colours both ends.. 
I take it that the brown in the top pic with the black tape on it has a nasty nick in it from the knife he used to strip with?

never mind its wrong at both ends therefore it'll be alright

Other faults:
Perfectly good final ring main split and left on a 32amp rcbo,
No cpc to lighting circuits after alterations,
Light fittings wired with two red cables (L&N) no cpc

and a woodscrew to hold the front on.. bravo!!!!...
