Daughter having woodburner in fireplace,the builder has rendered the back and sides with some thing called Polish render, he said it was difficult to work with and took several days to dry out but was the best. I have asked around but nobody has heard of it, people have only heard of polished render/cement the finish my daughter has is quite coarse, am just worried my daughter will end up with the render falling off or cracking. would appreciate any information.

only thing I’m aware of is that vitcas ? Heat proof render which apparently is tricky to work with. I’ve only ever used normal S&C render and it’s been fine with the heat
