Our dishwasher keep blowing the fuse in the plug and triping the CB everytime we open the door after a wash cycle.

Any ideas what might be causing this and is there a fix?

Thanks

Water driping through when you open the door or maybe worn insulation on the wiring harness to the controls (if they are in the door).
How old is the machine? is it worth reparing.

Its nearly 5 years old.

Its a whirlpool Dishwasher and when the door is opened after a cycle there is a bang and spark that comes from the bottom of the door near the hinge!

Thanks Diyisfun

It turned out to be a exposed wire which was worn through because of the door opening and shutting then blowing the fuse when water got onto it.

Now repaired and working fine :D
