I've found a second hand conservatory which looks great and is cheap, but we would have to dismantle ourselves. Does anybody know if this is doable? I'm guessing we start at the top and work down but is there any specific advice? It's an Anglian Windows lean-to style, in PVCu.
Are there any particularly complicated sections?
Thanks, Helen

mechanical fixings will be easy to undo, just use a screwdriver.

however, anything that has been glued together with silicone (fitters are very fond of silicone sealant) may be more reluctant to give.

a sharp knife will be useful and a lot of patience cleaning the shoite off.

some of the gaskets will have 'memory' and may be reluctant to form into a new shape, so getting a snug seal may be difficult without renewing the gaskets.

other seals will just be 'tired' and will have flattened out.

the more thorough you are with cleaning, the better the thing will fit back together.
