How can I get the cables out of this unit without breaking it ?
Is there a way? Thanks.

Are there rivets, or screws at the bottom of those holes?

...they could be the terminal screws for the wires. I suspect the outer cap may unscrew. There might be some lugs on the side that stop it just being untwisted; the cover would have to be pressed in the right place to let it pass the lugs.
But that's just a guess! :)

Nothing visible at all the socket has an inner and outer that shifts very slightly but it's quite fragile plastic I've already chippped a bit. I actually just swapped the visibe lamp casing and kept the inner socket the same, just finished it.
