I need to achieve this:

I originally thought a 1 in 4 out HDMI splitter and long HDMI cables but think I was barking up the wrong tree and I should be looking at splitter, adaptors and Cat 6 cables? I think I'm ok with the ir remote extenders (they'll plug into to adaptors).

These are about £30 each on eBay:

And this about £40:

The cables will need to run partially outside (about 5m) - will two cables with plugs, and a single WF100 fit in 20mm round pvc trunking?

Is there a particular spec of cable or just something "branded"?

I'm a complete novice so happy to be corrected etc (but unless I've overlooked something completely obvious probably not told "you don't want to do that" if it relates to piping round the Manhattan - which is so we can record and watch from any of the TV's, but never simultaneously).

Thanks

Edit - I think the run to the bedroom could come in at under 15m so could I get away with a hdmi for that? and would it go through the trunking?

What are you wanting to do exactly?

All TVs have Freeview tuners in them. So an aerial distribution system will do that. Most will have suitable streaming players built in for iPlayer / Netflix etc.,. via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable (better).

Wanting to view / control the Manhattan PVR from all three locations as 1080 HD stuff then you could use HDMI over Ethernet cabling with suitable units (check how far they will support) or a DVB-T modulator over the coax aerial distribution (NB stereo PCM sound only)...

You can get a couple of coax and Ethernet cables inside 20mm conduit with care of use external grade Ethernet cable clipped to the walls. Beware making too sharp a bend on WF100 cable!!!

You won't get a standard HDMI plug through conduit.

I would agree that video recorder to TV that coax no longer fits the bill, as TVs today are so big, I know we use some form of wireless, it was all part of the SkyQ package.

But unless using something like Sky, then easier to just feed each TV independently from the aerial/router/etc.

The last TV we bought, we really don't need an aerial, with freely, youtube, etc, the need for aerials has gone, specially with so few channels on freeview, we have SkyQ but today the benefits are reduced, had we got freely before Sky we would have never bothered with Sky, our problem today is so much paired to the Sky router, and to reprogram it all would be a nightmare.

We want to record stuff on the Manhattan recorder anywhere downstairs and have it available on the TV upstairs and vice versa.

We have the same setup at the moment, only 2 rooms not 3 with an obsoleteish hdr1100 and an old 20m hdmi lead from lounge 2 to the ancient bedroom TV (being replaced by the 2k one) (before that we had the old sky sent upstairs Via the second output and a coax cable) it works - wife can go through the radio times, record loads of stuff and watch/resume/skip ads from anywhere. Our internet is ok but we find that everything is full of ads and when you watch crap crime documentaries on C5 they repeat half the program after every advert and the introduction takes 3-4 minutes so we can just skip it all.

So - same as we have now plus an extra TV all in modern quality and Freeview instead of Freesat.
