Im looking to install a wired alarm system in the house. I installed a Texecom premier about 10 years ago so have some experience. I guess things have moved on slightly, can any of you chaps recommend a decent system up to £300ish. I need 5 pir's, internal& external sounder. Keypad by the front door with prox. Ideally the option so it can communicate to my phone to advise if its gone off.

thank you

how much is the pyronix subscription and what does that give you. Do Texecom offer something similar?

Texecom free
Pyronix free first year then £36
Find the pyronix app easier to use and not so hit and miss unlike the Texecom
Overall both about the same set unset ect and notifications

If you have done a premier before the Elite won’t be such a big jump in understanding of how things work, minor changes and extra options.

A few installers do offer discounted services from time to time on the pyronix subscription, however Texecom Connect is currently subscription free.

Have to say Euro46 would be my choice....my better app...the kit is also a lot cheaper!
