I rang them last week mate. Only fit wired Honeywell or wireless Visonic.
Yale do a grade 2 capable panel I beleive, but doesn't matter for diy anyway.
all alarm systems can have issues, just like everything else, although most pros wont touch Yale.
Batteries can die, lower end panels don't protect the lead acid battery, then it comes down to the abuse the battery gets.
If you cant find an installer have you asked Texecom?
