Go to a conservatory manufacturer, give your sizes and a rough idea of what you want and they will supply you with a CAD drawing and a quote for the parts. If you like it, they will make all the parts for you, and you just put it together.

That's more or less how we did ours (except I paid someone to put it together!)

It shouldn't be expensive for just a roof and one side with a door.

Ours is excellent in Spring and Autumn, in Summer it is also very good but we planned in ventilation, if you leave it all shut up it gets hot, but only takes a few minutes too cool down if you open everything up. Winter is probably the worst time but even that isn't that bad. For the coldest months we have to plan a little when we are going to use it after dark (it's fine in the day), we fitted a rad after it was built and that in combination with leaving the doors into the house open makes it more than warm enough. We use ours all year round and have noticed no difference in gas usage - we save a little in Autumn and Spring as it warms them house in the day.

if you use poly the heat loss will stop you using the conservatory on all but the warmest winter days
the heat loss can be as much as 6kw an hour or up to £5- £10 a day to heat
you need to do your heat loss calculations to find out how bad it will be
