Just a quick warning based on my experiences this weekend...

I've been painting some woodwork in the house - I had some B&Q One coat satin I bought a while back (had a label on the back saying it was a DuPont Smart Paint) - basically a self undercoating paint.

Anyway I ran out and went up the road to get some more - thought I'd bought the same stuff although the tin had changed a bit - not the case, the one coat satin from B&Q has a much higher gloss than the old stuff.

I ended up taking it back and getting a tin of Dulux Trade Satinwood. Rubbed down and went over the bits I'd done with the new paint - Incidentally the finish acheived with the Dulux matches the old paint well enough to not be noticeable.

If you want something that gives you a 'low gloss' finish then the B&Q paint might be for you...
