How does it work then?

(yes I know i have an "ad") but what i really want to know is could i for example advertise my services as say a gardener (just an example you understand) and there by post a link to my website, but would that not be free advertising? or is free advertisng allowed?

or say i want to sell my series boxed set in mint condition popular tv show on dvd can i do that?, and would it be free for me to do so?

There does not seem to be any instructions, and i can see a lot of spam being put on there.

oh, does any one want to buy some viagra and other stuff at cheap prices, visit my new site ...............

For those that have not noticed it the market place is here

the ads do not seem to say where the vendor is

and they are people I have never heard of.

The marketplace is supposed to be for individual products, not general adverts for companies. No web addresses, emails or phone numbers are allowed so it contact will be via the comments or Private Message.

You can list your 'series boxed set in mint condition popular tv show on dvd' if you want! 'Spammy' ads will be removed - viagra etc. It is meant for tangible items as well so offers of 'services' are not welcome either (with the exception of for example someone seeking an apprenticeship or similar). Joke items will also be removed.

JohnD - a location field has been added for each listing :)

So why is it that 3 of the current advertisers have made no posts?
They have only joined to sell their stuff
