hello everyone, this may sound silly as i have bought some italian tiles which are flowers and circles which join onto the next tile, these are the tall tilles, will it still have the matching effect if i grout in between them or leave no space and dont grout inbetweeen, any help would be appreciated as im doing them either tomorrow or next day, thanks, alison

Jest put (e.g.) three tiles together on the ground, try it out with some grout both ways (one set of three tiles with spacers and one set of three tiles without spacers), see how they look, clean off the grout before it dries, clean, re-use tiles, and proceed whichever looked right.
You will certainly need to apply the grout even if you don't use the spacers, otheriwse water will get in and eventually the tiles will come loose.

What subtrate are they going onto ?
As Davie says 2mm, but ya might get away with 1mm depending on subtrate
