Do I need AAVs with Combi boiler?

I have recently moved into a bungalow where the previous owner had GCH installed fired by a boiler in the attached garage. The pipework ran into the bungalow attic and then through the ceilings into the rooms and to the rads. AAVs were fitted in the attic at the highest (??) point.

That boiler was old, and I have had it replaced by a Worcester Bosch CDi combi fitted in the bungalow attic, feeding the rooms below mostly through the original pipework but with some rads moved and a couple of others added.

However, I think that the plumber who did the job wanted to save time by ustilising as much of the old pipework/runs as possible. One consequence being that the pipework is now routed very uneconomically, has long un-necessary runs and still retains 2 AAVs which are now no-longer at the highest point. The boiler is significantly higher!

I want to tidy this up and route the pipework more directly and efficiently.

Can anyone tell me if I need to retain the AAVs or does the Worcester Bosch have integral venting and I can dospense with them???

Thanks guys.

Automatic air vents Dex, a combi has its own PRV
D'Oh! Why "D'Oh"? Because two weeks ago I primed my own boiler (vaillant837)after a drain down to fit a couple of extra rads and loosened the aav as per mi to purge it. Stupid boy

I wish! Was out in your neck of the woods yesterday (Ullswater) with Year 12 students from my new school. Didn't get home and to bed (courtesy of 2 lane closure on M6 at the M61 turnoff for no apparant reason) until 1am and up at 6 today. Thus very knackered- matchsticks holding eyes open

You can remove the aav's or let them be in peace, they won't do any harm.
Stick some insulation on the pipes, and the long runs won't matter.
